I’ve been in fundraising for 40 years and I’m seeing opportunities I’ve missed. This training on asset-based giving has really challenged me to ask deeper and more meaningful questions with donors. I’ve talked with business owners about their business but I never really got into their long -term vision and their own legacy planning. One of the things I’m walking away from this training with is how to ask these questions that take us down the road of discovery and how to introduce these topics in a natural conversational way.
